In law school, Michal-Ane received life-changing advice from a fellow student. The advice? Take a class with Professor Elizabeth Rowe, the Director of UF Law’s Intellectual Property Law Program. This was Michal-Ane’s introduction to the exciting world of Intellectual Property.

Michal-Ane went on to be Professor Rowe’s Research Assistant. She served as Notes Editor for the Florida Journal of Technology Law and Policy. She completed an internship at a biotechnology firm where she worked with General Counsel on licensing agreements and royalty agreements  She also authored an article about Cybersquatting and generic top-level domains. She was selected as one of thirteen students nationwide to be a student reporter for the ABA-IPL Section’s Spring meeting in 2014. Her favorite achievement from law school is, by far, earning the highest grade in her Trademark Law course.

Michal-Ane has an insatiable curiosity about how things work and loves to think creatively about ways to make her client’s lives easier. Her mission as Founder of MM ESQ. LAW is to innovate the legal profession by being less transactional and more relational with her clients. When she’s not working with clients or waxing poetic about all things Intellectual Property, Michal-Ane enjoys working out, reading fiction, trying new things, and rooting for the Florida Gators.
